Children’s Parties

Looking for something different from biting-the-cake? That is possible!
Tithe Barn Ceramics Centre offers you the possibility to organise an original children’s party: a combination of art, culture, creativity and fun!
The children are given a guided tour of the museum and, after having listened, it is time for them to do something themselves! They can dive into clay! Don’t bring any swimming gear, however, do bring clothes that may get dirty. Under supervision, they will make a piece of clay work based on the techniques they admired in the museum earlier. At the end of the session, the piece of work will be fired. As a party is not a party without sweets, lemonade and sweets will be provided as well.

Option 1: "Putting your paws into the Tegelen clay"

From age 5

Days: Saturday and Sunday afternoons, during school holidays also during the week, except on Mondays.

Children’s afternoons / courses
Every month, there are 3  Wednesday afternoons in the Tithe Barn museum workshop, especially for children from years 3-8 from primary schools. The children then spend an afternoon carrying out activities inside and/or outside the museum. One afternoon may be a guided tour of the museum, another afternoon may be a visit to the herb garden followed by modelling, one time using modelling clay, another time using self-hardening clay. Each time something different. For each activity afternoon, there are 12 places available. The afternoon is from 14.00: 16.00.
The price is € 60 per course year for 10 afternoons.
