On foot From Tegelen train station (15-20 minutes)
Coming down the steps of the station, go left towards the fish and chips stand. Leave the stand on your left and continue straight ahead. You come to Calvariestraat: turn left. Walking down this street you will see the open air theatre ‘de Doolhof’ (Maze) on your left. Turn right at the first crossing: Nachtegaalstraat. Follow this road (name changes into Kasteellaan) until you arrive at a T-junction, (you will see a blue-white sign Tiendschuur, Tithe Barn). Here you turn right. On the left are the gate house, the castle and the tithe barn. When you pass under the arch of the gatehouse, you will see the Tithe Barn on your right.

By car
From Roermond
(A73 northbound)
Take the A73 towards Venlo/Nijmegen (15.4 km). Take exit 17 for Belfeld towards Tegelen/Nettetal). Turn left at the first set of traffic lights and right at the next: Streekweg/N271. (Follow the signs for Holtmühle.) Take the second turning on your left: Verlengde Kasteellaan. After about 300 metres, you will see the castle and tithe barn on your left. You can park your car 100 metres past the entrance to the tithe barn. Walk back and pass under arch of the gatehouse and you will see the Tithe Barn on your right.

From Eindhoven
(A67 southbound) and Nijmegen (A73 southbound):
At the “Zaarderheiken” junction, follow the signs for Venlo-Zuid / Maastricht, joining the A73 towards Maastricht. Take exit 17 for Belfeld towards Tegelen/Nettetal, going straight across at the traffic lights: Streekweg/N271. (Follow the signs for Holtmühle.) Take the second turning on the left: Verlengde Kasteellaan. After about 300 metres, you will see the castle and tithe barn on your left. From Duisburg
(A40/A67 westbound):
After crossing the border, follow the signs for Venlo-Zuid / Maastricht, joining the A73 towards Maastricht. From Mönchengladbach
A74/A61 motorway,  Venlo-Zuid, take exit (16). At the end of the exit, turn right. Under the viaduct, at the first traffic lights left. 2 x roundabout straight on, going straight across at the traffic lights,  roundabout straight on, take the first turning on the right. This is the extended Kasteellaan. After approximately 300 metres, this over in Castle Avenue. Under the trees on the left are parking places, a little further on the left is also a larger parking lot. When you're among the Tithe barn port dripping shows Ceramics Centre on the right side ...
